I co founded an audio equipment/gear rental company called SoundSpeed in Cape Town, South Africa. Under the name of SoundSpeed I worked as a Sound Operator on the following productions: The Get Away Car for GetAway Productions & BBC UK, Kokkedoor (season 2) with Homebrew Films, E! Talent search SA's next host with Blink productions, TLC search for next host with Okhule Media.

Managing a company, learning different location gear such as Sanken, Lectrosonics, Sound Devices, Zoom, Tentacle Synch and Sennheiser products. Working quickly and efficiently under time pressure.

In 2015, Rian Engelen Sound Supervisor for Survivor USA recruited me to join his audio department and have been a  part of the crew ever since.  I also joined Rian's crew for Eco Challenge 2019 filmed in Fiji. Between the seasons I have worked on many other small ENG shoots throughout the years from branded content, commercials and local reality content in South Africa.

Managing relationships between departments and team work amongst the audio department on large format productions. Co ordinating different audio set ups and preparation for different climates & challenges. Additional gear learnt: Ambient, Countrymen, RF Venue systems & strategic placement of mics both on humans and hidden

I was Sound Supervisor for the local TV reality show Die Superste Senior (The Super Senior) for a local network channel called VIA. In 2020 I was Sound Supervisor, with an all female audio crew, for the hit comedy series Tali's Baby Diaries season 2.

Stepping into a Head of Department role I had to use al the skills above to run my department efficiently and effectively. I learnt to delegate and trouble shoot in the moment. Mixing multiple channels to clients, doctors and cameramen.

I worked at Rhapsody Recording under the supervisor of Matthew James on a local Television drama called Waterfront where I helped with the foley edit. In 2017 I was Matthew James first assistant on the highly controversial South African film Inxeba: The Wound, which was shortlisted as a top 9 final at the Academy Awards for Best Foreign film 2018. I was also the Post Sound Mixer for the local TV series Op Seer Se Spoer for the channel Kyknet.

Post Production software Pro Tools I am very comfortable to wok with, Cubase and Wave Agent I am very familiar I am also learning DaVinci Resolve  Software to edit visuals and combine audio from Pro Tools
